Leadership

Born and raised in the twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Siobhän carries the warmth, resilience, and vibrant spirit of the Caribbean into her work and relationships. Now based in Hawaiʻi, she is a public health advocate, caregiver, and graduate student dedicated to fostering compassionate, inclusive communities.

Inspired by the cultural traditions of the Caribbean, Hawaiʻi, and Japan, Siobhän believes that kindness, dignity, and genuine connection are the foundation of healing and belonging. She strives to serve her community with humility, empathy, and aloha.

Siobhän was introduced to the healing teachings of Shinnyo-en by her beloved “Buddha Mom,” Noriko Nixon, whose friendship and mentorship have profoundly shaped her journey. She is honored to support Noriko’s vision for Madam Mermaid Club and help cultivate a welcoming space where imagination, healing, and community can flourish for all.
