日本とハワイの間には一体どんな関係があったのでしょうか？

Maybe I can learn with people around me.

周りを見渡すと、答えが見つかるかも。。。

I have been living in Kailua and surrounded by deep Hawaiin musicians and their families.

カイルアに住んで１０年以上経ち、ハワイアンのミュージシャンに囲まれて生活してきました。

Thank you for my music gift to connect people beyond cultures.

お陰様で、音楽的な感覚が私をここまで文化を越え人と人をつなげてこれたと信じます。

But to be honest , I have so little understanding about Hawaiian history and music.

しかし、お恥ずかしながら、私はハワイの言語や歴史はほとんど学んだことがありません。

So I decided to let my music sense navigate my passion the reason why I came to Hawaii and started to play music after that long years of break with playing music.

そこで、これよりは少しずつ自分がどうしてこのハワイで生活しているのかという、不思議な理由も探りながら、音楽にガイドされていこうと思います。

Because I feel strongly the energy from Princess Liliokalani who is the composer of this song.

さて、最近のリリオカラニ王妃が何となく、語りかけてくれている気がするのです。

でお馴染みの彼女の有名なこの曲、”アロハ・オエ”を聞いてみましょう。

ハワイのオアフ島にあるイオラニ宮殿です。　リリオカラニ妃はここでアロハ・オエを唄われたのでしょうか？

Turtle is significant for life messenger for ancestors

亀はｌハワイでも先祖のメッセンジャーとして信じられています。

実は私の名前は亀井で、父親の実家つまりおじいちゃんの家には、大きなウミガメが壁い掲げられていました。

My father’s family name ” Kamei” menas Turtle.

We had huge turtle on the wall and worship it I remember when I visited my grandparents house in Fukui in Japan.

And we believe that when we send off our love ones, we believe they watching us from sky.
